August 24, 2024 - Our first meeting felt like fate quietly stepping in. It was during a thanksgiving celebration in Ponompian, Bolaang Mongondow — a day like any other, yet one that would change everything. In the midst of laughter and crowds at a friend's home, I needed to use the restroom. Sensing the moment, Jovi gently offered to take me to his place instead. Riding on his motorcycle, a simple ride turned into the beginning of our story. From that unexpected encounter, our hearts found a reason to stay connected, and our conversations slowly grew into something more meaningful.

On the night of September 11, 2024, Jovi spent time with his friends, who were drinking together. But Jovi chose not to drink. He didn’t want to get drunk — not that night. He had something important on his heart: he wanted to express his love and show how serious he was about us. That moment marked a turning point, and our relationship became even stronger.

On January 3rd, 2025, we chose to take a beautiful step forward — a promise of forever, sealed through our engagement. It was a quiet yet powerful testament to the depth of Jovi’s love and commitment.
Like every love story, ours has faced storms and struggles. But by the gentle guidance of our Lord Jesus, we’ve held on — not only to each other, but to the faith that carried us through. Each day, we walk this journey hand in hand, strengthened by grace, and bound by love that keeps growing with every sunrise.

We have decided to begin our journey of a lifetime together on April 26th, 2025.
Right now, we may not have a long story to share — not yet. But we hold onto the hope and prayer that our marriage will be filled with lasting happiness, until death do us part.

A little message to Jovi’s friends:
If one day we have a disagreement, please don’t agree to join him for a drink if he invites you out for alcohol.
