For fifteen years of marriage, our story has been rooted in a simple meeting from childhood. We grew up as playmates, then went our separate ways as life unfolded. Time passed, until we were finally brought together again at the Catholic Church where we were both raised in faith. At that moment, Charles was home on leave from his work as a sailor, while Citra was pursuing her studies as a university student. In our youthful years filled with hope, that encounter became a warm and unforgettable moment—affirming that some stories are meant to be reunited at the most perfect time.

We spent eight months in a relationship, a journey that felt completely natural because we had known each other since childhood. Our bond grew warmly and with certainty, until we finally celebrated our engagement in August 2010.

We received the Sacrament of Marriage on December 28, 2010, a day that marked the beginning of our journey as husband and wife, united in God’s love and blessing. Today, we have walked through fifteen years of marriage—a journey filled with gratitude, growth, and a love that continues to deepen.
